Job Title:
Community Manager

MakerLabs is a 26,000sf makerspace in Vancouver that provides people with the tools, space, and skills to make almost anything. We are looking for a Community Manager who is capable of working independently with a high level of initiative.

Position specifications:
- Communicating with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Conducting tours of the makerspace
- Membership management
- Preparation of invoices and quotes
- Scheduling classes, meetings, and events
- Retail and event support
- Social media and communications management

- Bachelors degree
- Minimum six (6) months customer service and/or admin experience

- Interest in or knowledge of digital fabrication tools (laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC routers, etc)
- Interest in or knowledge of 2D vector drawing (Inkscape or Illustrator)
- First Aid and WHMIS certifications

Full-time (40 hours per week)
