MakerLabs StudioS

Need space to make? Studio members can have their own studio at MakerLabs. Studios are month-to-month and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. MakerLabs also offers custom fabrication services to help you design and build out your studio.

Studio Rates

All studios are a minimum of 50 sqft and require a Maker Membership.

  • Second Floor

    • $3.50 per sqft per month with a 50 sqft minimum (noise/dust-free only)

  • First Floor (non-WoodLab)

    • $4.25 per sqft per month with a 50 sqft minimum

  • First Floor WoodLab

    • $5 per sqft per month with a 50 sqft minimum

How to get a studio space

Apply for a studio space using the form below.

Before committing to a studio space at MakerLabs, we require reviewing our studio policies and other related policies.

Once we receive your submission, we will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange a tour.

Membership is required and not included in the studio rates. If you are not an existing member, we encourage you to be a member for at least a month before acquiring a studio at MakerLabs.

Maker Studio Affiliate

$100 per month

For guests of studio members that need to access their studio more than 5 times in a month, they must sign up as a studio affiliate.

Affiliates get access to an existing member's studio seven days a week, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Note: this does not grant access to the communal workshops or tools. Drop-in rates will apply.

Short term storage

$1.75 per square foot per week with a minimum of 10 sqft (no membership required)

Anyone can store things at MakerLabs. For storage outside studio spaces, please email us at hello@makerlabs.com to set up a short term storage plan with us. More information on our short term storage policy is available on our public wiki here.
