Make a Tool Booking

Users of any of MakerLabs’ tools must have completed the relevant safety and orientation class prior to booking the tool, and have used it within the last year.

As these are shared tools, each person is allowed a maximum booking time of 3 hours per tool per day.

Please note, the fees indicated below are a reservation deposit that are applied towards total cutting time. Please visit our membership page for more information about Laser Cutting / CNC Rates.

For any members/drop-ins that have not used a tool in the last year that they have previously taken an orientation for, they are required to prove their knowledge of the tool to an Education Manager. This involves a 30 minute Knowledge Depreciation Test at a cost of $30+GST per class, and must be booked in advance via email. By booking a tool, you are acknowledging that it has been less than a year since your class/last use of it.

Loading Bays are no longer listed on our tool booking page. Current Members who wish to reserve either Loading Bays must email hello@makerlabs.com first to discuss arrangements.
